Christian Values

Our Christian Value for this half term (Autumn 1 2020) is Thankfulness.

Biblical background: Christians believe that God loves and cares for them in many different ways in all aspects of their lives. They know that their response to this provision should be one of thankfulness and praise.

  • Psalm 148 - a song of praise to God
  • Paul and Silas is prison (Acts 16)
  • The healing of the ten lepers
  • The loaves and the fishes

Bible verses:

  • Every time I think of you I give thanks to my God. (Philippians 1:3)
  • Always give thanks for everything to God the Father. (Ephesians 5:20)
  • Always be thankful. (1 Thessalonians 5:16)
  • The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I give thanks to him in song. (Psalm 28:7)
  • Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6)
