'Daddy' Secret Story Teller

How very exciting, today we had our very first 'Daddy' come in to school and be our Secret Story Teller.  It was Mr. Spruce, Ella's daddy.

He read us another very funny story written by Steven Lenton ( Princess Daisy and the Dragon and the Nincompoop Knights)  about 'Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam' who begin the tale making the wrong decisions but soon they decide to join the 'great british bake off' craze and make and sell their own cakes!!!  How exciting it was and we all left feeling very hungry and wanting to make our own cakes.

A massive THANK YOU to Mr Spruce for coming in today and read to us, we loved the story and hope to find more by the same author!
