Year 3 - Stone Age day

Year 3 Stone Age D&T Day

Year 3 have had a fantastic day taking part in different activities about the Stone Age. They started the day by thinking about Stone Age foods and where they might be collected from. Apples from the school grounds were then collected and stewed for the children to use in their own fruit crumble which they thoroughly enjoyed making the topping for!

In the afternoon the children learnt all about Stone Henge and worked in groups to try and recreate the famous monument from pink wafer biscuits. They did a super job and had lots of fun!
