Cheshire Hockey Finals

To carry on with the success of our sporting teams this year, Mossley CE Hockey Team progressed through to the Cheshire finals at Alderley Edge Hockey Club on the 8^th March. Along with 15 other teams, Mossley were entered into one group of four. The standard of hockey – especially for primary school level – was exceptional and Mossley rose to the tough challenge of the opposition. After their three group games, Mossley had won two games and lost one. This meant that they progressed through to the next stage of the competition in the second league. The team continued to play brilliantly and were on the receiving end of some misfortune in all of the games. They work well as a team and their commitment left both teachers and parents feeling very proud of their achievement. In the end, Mossley finished 8^th out of 16 teams.
