Swimming Gala

On Monday 7^th March, Mossley entered a team of children into the annual Congleton Swimming Gala at Congleton Leisure Centre. During the Gala, the children had to compete in a variety of events, including: 50m Free Style, 50m Breast Stroke, 25m Breast Stroke, 25m Back Stroke, 4x25m Freestyle Relay and 8x25m Freestyle Relay. After the initial heats, the Mossley children had all progressed through to their respective finals. In the end, the boy’s squad finished 3^rd, the girl’s squad finished 2^nd and their joint scores gave Mossley an overall place of 2^nd. The entire squad swam brilliantly and completed their races in great times. We were extremely proud of their performance and attitude throughout the competition.
