Our boys team played really well all season, they competed against all the local primary schools and acheived an incredible 4th place in the table.

Our Athletics team took part in the county final recently having already won the local event. They were incredible on the day and placed 3rd overall.

We really enjoyed World Book day. The children all dressed up as a word and created a potato scene from a book.

Year 3 River Trip, by Mrs Knibbs

Year 3 enjoyed their trip to the river. They looked at the erosion of the river, measured the depths of the river bend and looked for different species of birds.

Congratulations to our indoor athletics team who put in an incredible performance at the primary school competition this week. They came first in every track event and were overall winners on the day.

Years 3, 4 and 5 had a visit from two practice Muslims and a practice Sikh who shared with them artefacts they use during their worship, what their worship consists of and the different festivals they celebrate.

A Massive Congratulations to our Year 5&6 cross country champions! Well done to all the children who ran in the first and second leg such a great team effort to be overall winners. A special mention to Rafe and Annabelle who both came first in their races

These fantastic children delivered a whole school assembly on World Religion Day. They spoke clearly and passionately infront of all 430 children and staff. A massive well done!

We enjoyed a fabulous Church service at Trinity Church for Harvest, we showed wonderful art work, read storys and delivered speeches. We all gathered together to give thanks, reflect and share prayers.

We were overwhelmed with the number of generous donations which were all take to our local food bank.

Fiona Bruce Discusses Democracy, by Mrs Knibbs

Today we were lucky enough to have had a special visit from our MP Fiona Bruce. She spoke to the school council about her role and the importance of the work that the school council do. She then met the whole school in assembly and the children learnt all about our democracy.

Winners! A huge congratulations to our year 5/6 cross country team who participated in the second and final leg of competition this evening. In really tough conditions all the runners showed amazing grit and determination- superb running from each and everyone. It was a super team effort with both girls and boys winning their sections leading to overall winners!!! There were great individual performances- well done to Annabelle who was 2nd and Rafe who was 3rd after the two events. Ahuge thank you to Mrs. Swift and all the staff who made it possible!

Congratulations to our football team who played their final league matches last night. Through out the season they have displayed some excellent teamwork; incredible passes; phenomenal defensive skills; saves of the century and exceptional goals. And most importantly they have had lots of fun! They have gone undefeated all season. Well done league winners 2024!!!
